cornflakes chocolate chip cookies

My amazing mum got me a cookbook for my birthday. I really really wanted to have this book for ages and now I have it, ‘Tanya bakes’. You probably all know the amazing youtuber Tanya Burr. I love her and her channel so much and she always bakes such amazing things and I am so excited to try so many of her recipes.

I love chocolate chip cookies and I was so excited to try these ones because one of the ingredients for them are cornflakes. I’ve never ate cookies with cornflakes before but they taste so so delicious!!

I really love making cookies, but I also have the biggest difficulties with them. These ones are so easy to make. The only thing you have to keep in mind is that they spread a lot in size.

Spiderweb cake

I hate spiders, but I love the pattern of a spiderweb. I really love to bake Halloween themed goods and making this one was so much fun. This was also so so easy to make.

I used my trusty Zebra-cake recipe. It’s so delicious and as I said so easy to do.

I wanted to have an orange-black cake which didn’t work. But yellow-black looks cool too, am I right? Also can I just say how messy this was? I really hope you like this picture because I spent 15 minutes cleaning the table afterwards.

After the cake baked (and burned a little bit) I draw the spider’s web on top of it with a mixture of icing sugar and water. Again, this was quiet messy because my mixture was really watery but I love how it turned out.

I love this cake so much and it tasted so so good! Let me know what you think of it in the comments below.

Spooky cookies – I see you

These are probably the best cookies I’ve ever made. I love Rosanna Pansino from Nerdynummies. She shares some great recipes and her chocolate chip cookie recipe is just the best thing ever. I love to make them, but because it’s October, I wanted to create some spooky ones and I am really happy with how they turned out.

I call them I see you because I draw some little eye balls on top of them. I saw these candy eyes and wanted to buy them, but my supermarket doesn’t sell them so I created them myself.

I used some icing sugar and water and piped some dots on to my cookies. Then I took some chocolate chips and placed one on each icing dot and finished were my eyes.

I love my spooky cookies so much. I am more of the cute spooky person.

Chocolate chip cookie muffins

The incredible Rosanna Pansino from Nerdynummies shared a chocolate chip cookie cupcake recipe a few days ago. I immediately wanted to try them and omg! These muffins are the most amazing thing ever. They taste so good and I really wanted to share them with you.

Check out Ro’s blog or YouTube channel for the recipe.

I love baking. To me it’s such a calming thing to do. Sometimes I like listening to music whilst I bake and sometimes I just enjoy the sound of my hand-mixer.

These muffins are so delicious and so easy to make, like so easy! To me these are the perfect Sunday – let’s bake – muffins.

My family absolutely loved eating them and I think I have to make more asap because they are all gone already.
